We are a roadside inn on the outskirts of Shepton Mallet, 400 years old, sympathetically and completely refurbished and modernised.

We have retained our quality ratings for 2010; an AA Rosette for food quality for the fourth year, a Dining Award for service and atmosphere and 4 AA Stars for accommodation for the eighth consectutive year. We are the only hotel and restaurant in Shepton Mallet to hold this coveted combination of awards.

We have eight bedrooms, all ensuite, some with separate shower and bath but all a generous size with comfortable beds and a fast internet connection. Downstairs we have two dining areas, a conference suite, the bar area, gardens on three sides and a large car park.
