The Parlour
A delightful conference room with oak panelling, open fireplace and French doors, leading out onto the garden,can be hired per four hour session e.g. 9am to 1pm, 2pm to 6pm, 7pm to 11pm. It can comfortably seat 20-25 people boardroom style or 45 theatre style. The room has natural light and ventilation.
Boardroom style
Facilities include high speed Internet access and a 42" plasma screen that will take inputs from your laptop to give your audio visual presentations that extra edge as well as a projector and screen, flip chart and VCR.
The Aldhelm Suite
Ideal for those who would like a less formal meeting or use of a syndicate room. It can take up to six comfortably and the room does have a broadband connection.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOKING:
PAYMENT:
- The appropriate Conference room rate must be paid in full at the time of booking. Valid credit card details must be supplied. Food and beverage costs are to be settled on departure.
- Unless credit arrangements have been established with the management, prior to the function date, settlement of the account will be at conclusion of the function. In the event of an account not settled on the day, the balance will be charged to the credit card details supplied on the booking form. We accept cash and all major credit and debit cards. We do not accept American Express and Diners Card. Personal or company cheques,BACS or CHAPS payments are acceptable providing adequate time is provided for funds to clear.
- If payment by invoice or other credit methods are agreed then payment in full within fourteen days from the last day of the specific booking is required and the statutory rights for late payment will apply. The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 allows us to add interest at 8% above the prevailing Bank of England base rate for each day the debt is outstanding, which we will do.
CANCELLATION
- In the event of a confirmed booking being cancelled (except December):
- With less than 28 days notice, the conference room rate will be refunded only if the space is resold.
- With less than 10 working days notice, a minimum fee of £100 or 50% of the Conference Room Rate, whichever is the greater, is applicable.
- Cancellation within 5 working days of the event taking place, or non-arrival of the party will incur the full cost of the room and chosen menu being charged against the credit card details supplied with the booking form or, if applicable, invoiced.
- Deposits for confirmed bookings in December are non-refundable under any circumstances in part or in full.
- To cover these eventualities Bookers are advised to make their own cancellation insurance arrangements. We can provide a quotation from an independent insurer if required.
LOSS OR DAMAGE
- Under no circumstances are any banners, posters or such materials to be fixed to any walls or doors by any method.
- In the event of the violation of this condition, the management will take photographs of any damage immediately and the cost of any repair will be passed onto the client.
- Free standing display material in the private rooms is allowed.
- The Thatched Cottage will be under no liability for any loss, damage or injury to the Client’s property or the property of the Client’s guests if such loss, damage, injury is due to the act, neglect or default of the Client or his guests, servants or agents.
